20th anniversary PS4 reappears for a European contest

The 20th anniversary PlayStation 4 console is back in even more limited quantities and available to win through a European PlayStation Store contest.

According to Sony Entertainment Network's official rules, those at least 18 years old in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Sweden and the U.K. who opted into marketing emails and make a purchase in the PlayStation Store between Jan. 23 and Feb. 18 will be eligible to win one of four consoles.

"Simply make any purchase on PS Store during those all-important dates," an email from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe reads. "We'll send you an email containing a link to the competition. Answer all our questions in the fastest time you can manage and you'll be in it to win it."

Sony revealed the limited edition console Dec. 3, 2014 — the 20th anniversary of the first PlayStation. The 12,300 gray consoles recall the design of the PSOne. Pre-orders were available in the U.S. during the PlayStation Experience and quickly sold out. In the U.K., the console was briefly available in London and online. Some who got the consoles made quite a profit on eBay.
