See Batman and Superman fight in this canceled DC Universe game

Owen S. Good is a longtime veteran of video games writing, well known for his coverage of sports and racing games.

This never happened, and not just because if Superman and Batman ever fought, everyone knows Superman would drive Batman's teeth into his brain with one uppercut. That's because this, Justice League, by Double Helix — the gang behind the Killer Instinct reboot on Xbox One — was canceled a long time ago.

PtoPOnline, which found the video and uploaded it, notes the game was also called Green Lantern: A Justice League Game. It goes all the way back to 2010, when screenshots of the game's environments leaked out, but no one knew really what the gameplay entailed. Now you can see it for yourself.

It's hard to tell from a 90-second clip what exactly led to this game getting binned, but the reality-defying concept of Batman ever defeating Superman lived on, at least, in 2013's Injustice: Gods Among Us by NetherRealm Studios. Besides, everyone knows Aquaman could beat both of these guys.
