The long-promised online multiplayer mode for Trials Fusion, released last spring, has at last arrived via free update, Ubisoft announced on Thursday.
The mode, which supports up to eight players in online races, precedes the fourth downloadable content pack, Fire in the Deep, due on Tuesday. That will feature 11 new tracks, 27 new track challenges and another five trophies/achievements.
The multiplayer update delivers Online X-Supercross, which pits players on two random tracks, racing two rounds. Highest aggregate score wins the match. A Private Games options allows up to eight racers to pick a track and set parameters, such as gravity and speed, for racing it.
Fire In The Deep will cost $4.99 when it launches (it's included for those who bought the game's season pass.) Two more DLC packs are scheduled to arrive by March, bringing the total to six.
