The smoother, still occasionally terrifying world of Grim Fandango Remastered

Grim Fandango Remastered adds a fresh coat of paint and a few essential interface tweaks to one of the most memorable and original adventure games ever created. But what's more fascinating about Double Fine's renovation of the classic, noir-inspired tale is what it doesn't change — namely the game's patented sense of dark humor, its old-school (and frequently obtuse) puzzles and, of course, the game's inescapably horrifying interpretation of the Land of the Living. If anything, it's even scarier, despite the fact that we're now much older, and ostensibly much braver.

Check out the Overview video posted above to see Grim Fandango Remastered in all its overhauled glory, but don't say we didn't warn you about those magazine-faced living nightmare people.
