How Dying Light capitalizes on your fear of heights, rather than your fear of zombies

Zombies haven't been especially scary for a few years now — it's hard to be frightened of things you've seen eviscerated, burned and otherwise pulverized across countless comics, movies, TV shows and games. Heights, though? Those are still pretty scary; and Dying Light, the latest title from Dead Island developer Techland, wisely capitalizes on that all-natural fear. Of course, when you fall, you're usually falling into a zombies awaiting mouth, which boosts that scare factor a little bit.
