Edward James Olmos, better known to fans of Battlestar Galactica as Commander William Adama, will be guest-starring on ABC's hit show Marvel's Agents of SHIELD, Entertainment Weekly reports.
The "old man" who wiped many a Cylon ship of the DRADIS will play the role of Robert Gonzales, executive producer Jeph Loeb said. "When Olmos first appears on our series, everyone will have to take notice — including our favorite Agents."
Just how long he'll be on the show, and the nature of his role and his character's place in the series, is being kept under wraps. Since BSG went off the air Olmost has spent time on Dexter, Portlandia and Eureka. He'll be the second BSG cast member on the Agents of SHIELD, after Lucy Lawless appeared on the show only to be killed off in the second season.
