The Flash, Arrow get new trailers at New York Comic Con

New, 8 comments

The CW's two darling superhero shows, The Flash and Arrow, were a big draw for fans at this weekend's New York Comic Con, and the network wanted to help out those who couldn't make it, too. On Sunday, they released two sizzle reels for the shows that provided an in-depth look at what the upcoming seasons have to offer.

For Barry Allen's Flash and his team in Central City, the trailer gives a closer look at what the appearance of Jay Garrick (the original Flash) means, as well as a first glance at this season's big villain, Professor Zoom. Zoom has been bounding through various dimensions, and has eventually found himself in the one both Flashes are living in, and has just one goal in mind: to destroy all other super speedy beings!

In the world of Arrow, fans were given a closer look at the villain rampaging through Star City, Damien Darhk. Not only is he the leader of notorious criminal organization by the name of H.I.V.E., but fans will be shocked to know he's one of the sole reasons certain events in the city have transpired to begin with. Of course, it wouldn't be complete without Darhk declaring that he wouldn't rest until Star City was completely destroyed.

The Flash airs on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. EST, while Arrow airs Wednesdays at the same time. Watch the reel for Arrow below:
