Grab the Best Buy-exclusive Falco amiibo while you still can

More amiibo exclusivity news today: The Falco figure is now available for pre-order, but only from Best Buy.

Best Buy's online store will be the exclusive retailer of the collectible, which will see a release on Nov. 20. This date is later than the originally announced September window for Falco, who's known as a Star Fox crewmate and Super Smash Bros. brawler.

A press release from the electronics store indicates that there will be a limit to the number of amiibo that customers can claim ahead of time: "There's a limit of one Falco amiibo per customer as quantities will be limited."

Best Buy's Shane Kitzman claims in the announcement that "today's a great day" for amiibo fans, thanks to the news. For clarification, he means it's great news for those who are quick enough to pre-order before the figure is out of stock.

Toys R Us is also serving as an exclusive retailer for upcoming amiibo. When the Mii Fighters launch on Nov. 1, the 3-pack will only be found in the toy store. It also teased earlier today that a similar deal will exist for a restocking of the Villager amiibo and the huge — and hugely adorable — Mega Yarn Yoshi.
