Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer coming next week, along with ticket pre-orders

This upcoming Monday, Oct. 19, Star Wars fans hell bent on being among the first to see The Force Awakens are going to want to be sitting in front of their computer screens, credit card at the ready. According to multiple reports, Disney will release the first batch of pre-order tickets for the film alongside a new — and final — trailer.

Fans haven't been treated to a trailer since the 15-second clip Disney posted on Instagram back in August, and this theatrical trailer will apparently be the one accompanying the new James Bond movie, Spectre, when its released on Nov. 6.

Although there aren't any details on what the new trailer will hold, it might finally be time to reveal a little bit more of Adam Driver's Kylo Ren, the new Star Wars villain.

On top of the trailer, however, fans will also be able to purchase midnight screening tickets for the movie. The news stems from an accidental tweet sent out by Cinemark Theaters on Tuesday that showed an official graphic for the announcement. Roughly translated, the graphic states that the pre-order for tickets begins on Monday and fans should run, "before the Stormtroopers end up with all the tickets."

Although the tweet was hastily deleted, people managed to grab a screenshot of it and uploaded it soon after.

Screencrush is reporting that Disney will make an official announcement about the trailer and pre-order sales prior to Monday, most likely on Friday or Sunday.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is the seventh installment in the franchise and stars series veterans Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher alongside newcomers John Boyega, Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley.

The film will hit theaters on Dec. 17. Stars Wars Battlefront: Gameplay footage
