Act fast: Animal Crossing, Mewtwo amiibo now up for pre-order

It is officially amiibo hunting season, Nintendo fans: Wal-Mart has listed several of its exclusive amiibo up for pre-order.

The legendary Pokémon Mewtwo and Animal Crossing's Tom Nook are both available for $12.96 from the retailer. A three-pack including Animal Crossing's village bard K.K. Slider and husband-and-wife merchant pair Reese and Cyrus will cost you $34.96.

All five amiibo will ship on Nov. 13. The Animal Crossing amiibo will work with the upcoming Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival, which launches for the Wii U that same day. Mewtwo is compatible with the Wii U version of Super Smash Bros.

These are just the latest amiibo to go up for sale this week: Star Fox's comrade Falco became available to pre-order at Best Buy on Tuesday.

The Yoshi's Woolly World companion Mega Yarn Yoshi was just announced as a Toys R Us exclusive and will be available in-stores Nov. 15, while you can buy the smaller versions of the cuddliest amiibo starting today.
