For those of you who missed it the first time it came around in 1999 for the prequels, you are now witness to the fully operational Star Wars hype engine. First came the new poster, then emojis and finally the announcement of multiple officially sanctioned movie marathons around the country. Now we get to the main event; prepping for the release of the trailer.
Tonight during Monday Night Football, before a guaranteed audience of football-loving Americans, Disney will unveil the official theatrical trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. They've begun an all-out assault on social media by launching a volley of 10-second teasers.
Yesterday we saw a clip titled Finn and Poe, showing a group of X-Wing pilots running one way while a rag-tag group of rebel ground troops heads another. It was our first real look at these two characters interacting, and begins to show a bit of the relationship they share in the film. Finn seems in awe, Poe cool and confident.

Next came a second teaser, titled New Faces. It shows new footage of Rey inside some kind of mechanical conveyance, as well as Poe with a hefty laser rifle ready to fire.

It's all conjecture at this point, but from the looks of it we're beginning to see one of the upcoming film's set piece battles taking shape.
There are also other, smaller tidbits scattered around, like this Vine for instance.
But right now, the narrative seems to be gathering momentum primarily on Twitter.
We'll keep our ears to the ground, but if you see anything pop up please drop it in the comments below.
