The Martian gets its own game and you can play it on your Apple Watch

The Martian hit theaters this week and a game based on the film (and book) hit mobile phones and the Apple Watch today.

In The Martian, the game based on the movie based on the book, you play as astronaut Mark Watney's direct link to NASA.

The game unfolds through a series of text messages sent to your phone or watch and the responses you select when you reply to the stranded astronaut.

The Martian game features multiple story arcs and endings all powered by your conversations. As the game progresses you can also unlock a team of specialists who help you receive critical data to help you better make your decisions.
