Mega64 does an S-rank parody of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain

Michael McWhertor is a journalist with more than 17 years of experience covering video games, technology, movies, TV, and entertainment.

The gang at Mega64 has been making Metal Gear Solid spoofs for a long, long time. The group's original Metal Gear Solid parody, in which Solid Snake infiltrates a grocery store and a coffee shop, is more than a decade old now. But they've been popular enough over the years to capture the attention of Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima himself, who appeared in Mega64's take on Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots back in 2009.

Today, the funsters at Mega64 give us their no-budget version of Kojima's apparent swan song, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, and it's fantastic. We don't have much more to add, other than to say that if you're even remotely a fan of Mega64's brand of antics, their latest, perhaps final stealth adventure totally nails it.
