Halloween is just a little more than a week away, and the dwellers in Fallout Shelter are already gearing up for the holiday. As teased by the official Fallout series Twitter account, the All Hallows' Eve event has hit the Vaults in the Android and iOS game.
As seen in the above screenshot from the iOS version, fully expanded living quarters are now decked out with Halloween decorations. Dwellers have also outfitted themselves in appropriately spooky costumes.
Members of the Fallout subreddit are also reporting that kitchens now sport bats and other holiday decorations, as well.
This is just the latest in a slew of new features that the mobile game received recently. Bethesda updated Fallout Shelter last week with new cloud save functionality, as well as the presence of Piper from Fallout 4. She is exclusively seen in the iOS version, which also offers players five free lunchboxes.
Piper and the lunchboxes are only around through the end of this afternoon, so make sure to update your game in time if you're playing on an Apple device. The Halloween festivities will presumably continue through the end of the month.
Fallout 4, the series' next console entry, will launch Nov. 10 on PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. Bethesda has been holding a sale in anticipation of the launch for which it has released a new limited edition item daily throughout the week.
