Playable at the Indiecade event in Los Angeles this weekend, the 1993 sequel to Maniac Mansion got more than just a fresh coat of paint: Double Fine promises that the music and sound effects have also received upgrades, and that there will be additional new features, as well.
Schafer first announced the Day of the Tentacle remaster at PlayStation Experience 2014. Following in the footsteps of this year's Grim Fandango revamp, the game will come to Linux, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Windows PC. Schaefer and Double Fine also plan to bring out more beloved Lucasarts games in the future.
