If you're looking to pick up an Xbox One this fall, you can get your money's worth when it comes to games, courtesy of a special deal from Amazon. The online retailer is offering a free game with the purchase of an Xbox One, so if you buy Microsoft's 2015 holiday bundle, you can get a console plus four free games for $400.
The $400 holiday bundle includes physical copies of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition and Rare Replay, as well as a download code for Ori and the Blind Forest, and features an Xbox One with a 1 TB hard drive. Buyers of the bundle (and indeed, buyers of any Xbox One console from Amazon) can choose any existing Xbox One title — no pre-orders — as their free game, except for Halo 5: Guardians and Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Amazon Prime members get an additional $5 off the deal.
Because the deal applies to any Xbox One console, people interested in a Kinect can get a console and four free games by buying a different package at the same price. The Xbox One with Kinect bundle, which costs $400, comes with a 500 GB Xbox One and an Xbox One Kinect, as well as digital copies of Dance Central Spotlight, Kinect Sports Rivals and Zoo Tycoon.
Amazon's free game offer ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on Saturday, Oct. 31.
