Steam's Halloween Sale is live, offering spooky savings

Valve kicked off the Steam Halloween Sale today, offering discounts on dozens of "spooky titles," including many that may not immediately spring to mind as particularly spooky, like Grand Theft Auto 5 and Cities: Skylines. Steam users looking for some discounted thrills have plenty to choose from in the sale, which runs until Nov. 2.

Some of the year's more popular titles on Steam have been marked down, including Ark: Survival Evolved ($20.09, 33 percent off), Killing Floor 2 ($20.09, 33 percent off) and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt ($41.99, 30 percent off).

Classics like BioShock and Left 4 Dead 2 are also frighteningly cheap, marked down 80 percent to just $3.99 each. Also horrifically cheap is The Binding of Isaac, currently just $0.49.

Looking to stock up on a bunch of games? There are plenty of discounted bundles available as part of the sale, like the Five Nights at Freddy's four-pack, which is just $12.49, and the Capcom Elite Halloween Pack, which includes Resident Evil HD, Resident Evil Revelations 2, Devil May Cry 4 and Dead Rising 3 (plus lots of DLC) for just $59.98.

Check out the dedicated Steam Halloween Sale page for more deals — but also poke around; earlier today more than 500 titles were listed as part of the sale and it appears there are plenty of game deals that might require some digging.
