Knuckle Sandwich looks like EarthBound for the fast food worker set

Knuckle Sandwich, an upcoming role-playing game by indie developer Andrew Brophy, looks familiar.

This is certainly not a bad thing. Its first teaser trailer, which Brophy uploaded yesterday to the game's official page, is filled to the brim with game footage featuring retro Super Nintendo-era visuals and a chiptune score. You can check it out above, but be warned that the music will likely get stuck in your head for the rest of the day.

The "RPG about fast food, cults and noses" seems to be reaching out to EarthBound fans directly with its retro modern setting, teenage protagonist and bizarre, non-human side characters.

The PC game is now accepting votes on Steam Greenlight to get it on the platform. Brophy expects to launch Knuckle Sandwich sometime next year.
