Production has officially begun on David Lynch's new season of Twin Peaks and to celebrate, Showtime has released a 15-second clip.
Starring Michael J. Anderson reprising his role as the iconic, "Man From Another Place," the teaser doesn't reveal too much, but it does successfully hit all the nostalgia markers.
Despite his appearance in the teaser, neither Showtime or Lynch have confirmed Anderson is returning to the series. In fact, the only star confirmed for the revival is Kyle MacLachlan, who famously portrayed Agent Dale Cooper in the original version.
Reported earlier conflicts between Lynch and Showtime initially lead to the revival being pulled off the roster for a few months, but the teaser is proof that Lynch and co-creator Mark Frost are ready to enter the mysterious Washington town once more.
Twin Peaks is scheduled to be released either late 2016 or early 2017. Watch the teaser for the series below.
