Watch 5 minutes of Resident Evil shooter Umbrella Corps in action

Curious about Capcom's new third-person shooter set in the Resident Evil universe? The developer released five minutes of new gameplay of Umbrella Corps today that will give Resident Evil fans a sense of what to expect from next year's game.

In the video, members of the development team battle each other in a three-versus-three match of One Life Match mode, in which players only have one life per round. You'll see weapons and tactics like the Brainer axe and Zombie Jammer in action, and get a sense of the unusual player movement in Umbrella Corps.

Capcom announced Umbrella Corps at Tokyo Game Show this year. You can read Polygon's first hands-on impressions for our thoughts on the shooter.

Umbrella Corps is coming to PlayStation 4 and Windows PC in early 2016.
