Halo 5: Guardians is almost out, and if you're like me, that approaching release is slowly starting to strum the strings of your nostalgia for the series en masse. If that's true, good news! Some enterprising person has exactly the thing to amplify that moment: a web page devoted entirely to looping the menu screens and accompanying music from any of the main Halo titles, including Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, ODST (and the Mythic multiplayer disc that shipped with it), Halo: Reach and Halo 4.
I think my personal favorite more traditional take here belong to Halo 3, which pulls in all the original beats of Marty O'Donnell's iconic score from the original game and elaborates on it with all the skill and know-how assembled after six years of work on the franchise. Meanwhile, ODST and Halo 4 offer very different, distinct takes on the Halo idea, and are absolutely worth a listen. And if you're the breathtaking human being who made this page, please let us know, so we can sing your praises.
Update: We've learned that this wonderful gift comes from Andreas Grenasberg of Norway. Thanks Andreas! You can follow him on twitter here (though Andreas warns us it's mostly in Norwegian).
