12 years after Pixar's Finding Nemo made a giant splash in the world of animation, the first trailer for its sequel, Finding Dory, has arrived.
The film follows the beloved, forgetful little fish from the original movie, who has now moved in next door to Nemo and is father, Marlon.
From the trailer, it's evident that most of the original characters from the first film will make an appearance in the new movie, but the main focus will be on Dory, who remembers she has to find her family. Some fans may remember this is what Dory was trying to do in Finding Nemo before she literally swam in Marlin and joined him on his quest to find his son.
Directed Andrew Stanton and Angus MacLane, the film stars Ellen Degeneres, Idris Elba, Dominic West, Diane Keaton and many more.
Finding Dory is slated to hit theaters on June 17, 2016.
