American Horror Story, the FX anthology series about murderous hotels, asylums, witches and other supernatural occurrences, is coming back for another installment next year.
According to a press release, the sixth American Horror Story does not yet have a name, but will air sometime in 2016. Co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk will return to helm the season.
No casting announcements have been made yet, but Murphy tweeted last month that he had asked current show star Lady Gaga to return if the show came back for a sixth season.
"American Horror Story has pioneered a new television form as well [as] becoming FX's highest rated show," FX Networks CEO John Landgraf said in a press release about the renewal.
The fifth season, Hotel, is currently airing. We recapped the first few episodes of the show, which airs Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. ET.
