Pokémon Picross is Nintendo's next free-to-start title

Nintendo announced Pokémon Picross during today's Nintendo Direct presentation. The free-to-start game will be exclusively available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop starting in early December.

The game functions as a crossover between Picross and Nintendo's monster catching game. You'll be able to complete a series of puzzles based on familiar Pokémon characters, including legendaries.

A firm release date for the downloadable title as well as how much additional features will cost have not yet been confirmed.
