The game, which is out today on the Wii U, has quite a few modes in it, but one of them stood out in our time with the game: Desert Island Escape, a semi-randomized, turn-based mode composed of discreet survival puzzles on a hexagonal grid, all fueled by the character-specific amiibo cards that debuted alongside Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer.
Above, watch us complete a full playthrough of one of Desert Island Escape’s early stages, enlist a few characters their from amiibo cards, and get a handful of extremely unlucky spinner results.
