Disgaea finally heading to PC

Disgaea, Nippon Ichi Software's popular role-playing game franchise, is finally making its Windows PC debut. The first game in the series, the PlayStation 2's Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, will be heading to Steam for a February 2016 release.

The strategy RPG, which has been appropriately retitled Disgaea PC, will offer the usual Steam accoutrements, such as achievements and badges. Its user interface will also receive an upgrade.

The version coming to Steam will include all of the added content of the Afternoon of Darkness re-release, which launched on PlayStation Portable and was later ported to Nintendo DS.

Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance is the most recent new entry in the series. NIS launched that game for PlayStation 4 back in early October. Check out our gameplay overview of that title below.
