Newegg deal adds Star Wars Battlefront and more free games to PS4 and Xbox bundles

Star Wars Battlefront launched today — you can check out our review — and Newegg has a deal for Star Wars fans looking for a console to play the game on. Several PlayStation 4 and Xbox One bundles will include a bonus copy of Battlefront and an additional game now through Nov. 19.

If you want to experience Battlefront on PS4, Newegg offers the Star Wars bundle that comes with a 500 GB console, the game and four older downloadable Star Wars titles for $349, down from its usual $399. Alongside the Star Wars bonanza, Newegg will throw in original Destiny and Final Fantasy Type-0 HD at no added cost.

There are more options for those looking to buy an Xbox One. The Gears of War-themed bundle comes with bonus copies of Battlefront and last year's Assassin's Creed Unity for a total price of $349.

You can grab the same two extra titles with the $499 Halo 5: Guardians bundle, which will also throw in the wireless controller adapter for Windows 10, for whatever reason.

Your third and final Xbox One option is the Madden 16 set, which, like the Halo 5 one, includes a 1 TB console but includes NBA 2K15, Destiny and Star Wars Battlefront. That will run you $399.

Star Wars Battlefront won't be receiving much of a discount during Black Friday sales, although Best Buy will be selling the PlayStation 4 bundle for $349 during the holiday period. If you need the game sooner than later, Newegg might be the place to go – until Nov. 19, at least.
