ArtCraft's unusual MMO Crowfall is about to embark on a new closed test involving a few thousand of its backers. The company shared a video today showing one of its new characters (above).
Crowfall raised almost $2 million on Kickstarter earlier this year. Its unique approach is to create persistent characters who live in their own domains, but who fight in temporary worlds. Resources needed to develop domains can only be secured by going off to these temporary worlds and fighting for domination.
After a few weeks or months, each world dies. Winning players take home the spoils of war. No word yet on release date.
