Check out the first teaser for PewDiePie's new reality show

You can Scare PewDiePie next year

Felix Kjellberg, a.k.a. PewDiePie, previously announced that he'll be starring in his own reality show, which will air exclusively on YouTube Red, the service's new subscription-based streaming platform. The viral video creator — among YouTube's highest paid — shared the first look at that show, Scare PewDiePie, on his channel today. You can take a look above; we recommend turning down your volume first.

PewDiePie developed the show in partnership with some of the creative team behind The Walking Dead, he mentions in the video. He doesn't give an airdate for it yet, but promises that it will give fans the chance to see one of YouTube's most familiar faces endure some frightening, real-life situations similar to the games he often plays.

YouTube Red will launch in 2016. PewDiePie fans should note: Those who want to watch videos on the service will have to take out a $9.99 subscription in order to do so.
