GameStop is offering an incentive to new Xbox One buyers: This week only, the specialty games retailer is giving away a wireless controller with all new Xbox One systems — a savings of $60. Starting today, the offer will run through next Sunday, Nov. 8.

While its website suggests the deal is good with "any new Xbox One," GameStop specifically lists its bundles as including the freebie. One such bundle is a 1 TB console that comes with Rare Replay, Ori and the Blind Forest, and Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, which retails at $399; another is a 500 GB system with the Gears of War game and a 3-month subscription to Xbox Live for $364.98.

GameStop joins other retailers like AmazonSam's ClubWalmart and more in turning November into a monthlong flood of discounts. While GameStop's deal is pretty appealing, Walmart's similar "free controller" offer throws gamers their choice of game at no cost, as well.
