Amazon's Black Friday deals include major savings on HBO box sets

Black Friday is still a week away, but Amazon has officially started rolling out its deals.

One of the better entertainment deals that the site offers annually is massive savings on HBO box sets. For those that have always wanted to get into a series or are just looking to pick up a collection of their favorite show to revisit, here are some of the better deals available right now.

For fans of HBO's grittier dramas, The Sopranos is currently on sale for $120 off the regular price at $159.89. The entire collection of Boardwalk Empire on Blu-ray is also currently on sale, marked down from $239.99 to $99.99.

While The Wire was originally available for $59.99 on Blu-ray last week, the price has risen slightly to $89.99. Although, that's still a total saving of $110 for the series.

Rounding off the sale on Blu-ray deals is Entourage, which is currently available for $220 off the original retail price at $79.96.

There are also some great deals on DVD box sets available from the site. Six Feet Under is half-price right now at $59.96, while all of True Blood is available for $109.95.

These deals will fluctuate over the course of the week as Black Friday draws nearer, and stock will probably deplete quickly on some of the titles.
