When it comes to superheroes on television, no one is doing a better job of connecting various universes than The CW.
The network has managed to integrate the characters of The Flash and Arrow into each other's shows rather well, adapting traditional comic book storytelling techniques and using both shows to introduce new information for each.
Now, The CW is ready to launch its new series in the shared universe, Legends of Tomorrow, and according to a Paley Center video, it may finally have a launch date.
"Greg [Berlanti] is currently shepherding the highest rated number one and two series of the year," Warner Bros.' president of television Peter Roth says in the video. "With a third series, Legends of Tomorrow, that we have very high hopes for, on Jan. 21."
Although neither Warner Bros. or The CW have confirmed the premiere, if it's coming straight from the president's mouth, it's a pretty safe bet that's the date.
Legends of Tomorrow follows time traveller Rip Hunter as he brings together a group of superheroes and villains in an attempt to stop super villain Vandal Savage from destroying the world.
The team is rumored to make an appearance in an episode of Arrow sometime before the winter break.
