The CW is expanding its roster of superhero series with its third DC universe show, Legends of Tomorrow. Last week, the network's president of television announced that the series would premiere on Jan. 21. Today, you can take a look at the team of heroes and villains in action in the show's first-look trailer, which you can watch above.
Produced by Greg Berlanti of fellow DC Comics-based shows Arrow and The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow will tell the tale of the time-traveling Rip Hunter who bands together not only his fellow heroes, but villains too, in his quest to take down supervillain Vandal Savage.
Crossovers with Berlanti's other superhero series haven't been confirmed, but an appearance by the Legends of Tomorrow team in Arrow has been hinted at.
