GameFly’s Black Friday deals include great $9.99 games, if you don’t mind buying used

Best prices on Bloodborne, Dragon Age: Inquisition and other notable releases

GameFly is typically known for letting you rent video games, but the service sells new and used titles, too. While most other retailers have given customers plenty of lead time in deciding where to do their Black Friday shopping by announcing deals in advance of the Nov. 27 holiday, GameFly is only throwing its hat into the ring today.

Its combined Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are pretty compelling, though, if you aren't opposed to picking up games used. We've rounded up the highlights.

Best prices on new releases

You can pick up a used copy of Bloodborne for only $17.99, which stands as the best price for the game in any condition.

Other 2015 titles on sale include Rare Replay, also $17.99; Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, which is $9.99 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4; Borderlands: The Handsome Collection on PS4 and Xbox One for $18.99; and both PS4 and Xbox versions of Batman: Arkham Knight for $24.99.

It's good to note that you can grab a new copy of Batman: Arkham Knight at that price from various retailers this Friday, including Best Buy.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 also came out this year and is available at a discount, but $24.99 might still be asking too much for the fundamentally broken game.

For Nintendo fans, you can pick up the New Nintendo 3DS port of Xenoblade Chronicles for $34.99. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is on sale used for $29.99.

Catch up on last year's best

Dragon Age: Inquisition, which topped our 2014 Game of the Year shortlist, is $9.99 through next Monday.

Sunset Overdrive is $17.99, while Infamous: Second Son is available for $14.99, as is Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin for both PS4 and Xbox One.

Destiny — that is, its original release — is $17.99 on PS4 and Xbox One.

All used games from GameFly come with brand new cases and any included manuals. While many other stores offer sealed copies of these and other games at comparable prices, some of the discounts on the newer releases especially are hard to pass up, if you are willing to get past the pre-owned bit.

All prices are good through Nov. 30.
