Ubisoft's open beta for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege was supposed to begin yesterday, but the company hit pause due to technical difficulties. The company says it has fixed the issue and is now launching the open beta.
Rainbow Six Siege is a tactical shooter with a heavy emphasis on multiplayer. The game is set to launch on Dec. 1 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
"We're currently seeing issues with matchmaking times and disconnection on all platforms," offered a company statement on its forums. "As such we're postponing the Open Beta until a later time and keeping the game under Closed Beta status."
A later update added, "We are happy to confirm we will be launching the Rainbow Six Siege open beta at 12pm EST. We want to thank everyone who is participating in this beta. Your feedback helps. For everyone who hasn't been able to play as yet, we apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience and understanding."
