Portal comes to Rocket League with free car bling next month

Rocket League will be handing out Portal-themed goodies at the end of completed matches beginning next month, developer Psyonix announced yesterday.

The items are licensed by Valve but cost nothing. They'll be awarded at random in the soccer-with-RC-cars derby. The items are:

• Cake (Topper)
• Conversion Gel (Rocket Trail)
• Propulsion Gel (Rocket Trail)
• Repulsion Gel (Rocket Trail)
• Aperture Laboratories (Antenna)
• Cake Sticker (Antenna)
• Companion Cube (Antenna)
• Personality Core (Antenna)
• PotatOS (Antenna)

The giveaways begin Dec. 1, which is Tuesday. Later in December, Rocket League will introduce "Winter Games" modes and some holiday-themed garage items. Rocket League is available on Windows PC and PlayStation 4.
