Based on the first official clip from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, it looks like Superman has the upper hand.
Warner Bros. released the 50-second clip on Monday night, after the midseason finale of Gotham aired on Fox. In the clip, Batman is standing in what appears to be a basement of some sort, the floor covered in sand. His arms are raised above his head and he'e chained to the ceiling, standing next to two indecipherable figures.
As he's standing there, Superman drops down into the area, where four men immediately bow down before him. He marches toward Batman, rather menacingly, and unmasks him, revealing a terrified looking Bruce Wayne.
Although this is just a short clip, a new full-length trailer is supposed to premiere this Wednesday on Jimmy Kimmel Live! at 11:35 p.m. ET.
The film, directed by Zack Snyder, will hit theaters March 25, 2016.
