Grab a $299 PS4 or Xbox One, get a $50 coupon from Meijer’s Thanksgiving sale

Supermarket chain Meijer is offering a number of discounts to gamers willing to stop by on Thanksgiving Day. The retailer's holiday sale includes PlayStation 4 and Xbox One bundles at impressive prices, as well as discounted games.

ANOTHER $299 PS4 — AND AN XBOX, TOO

The PlayStation 4 bundle that includes Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be sold for $299 on Nov. 26. This matches Sam's Club's one-day-only bundle price, which will be offered to customers on Nov. 14. A key difference with Meijer's deal, though, is that this bundle comes not only with a $50 price cut, but an extra $50 coupon on top of it.

A similar offer is available for Xbox One. Bundles typically priced from $349 to $499 will receive special $50 price cuts. Meijer's ad calls out the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition bundle specifically, listing it at $299. Whichever Xbox One set you purchase, you will receive the same $50 coupon.

These coupons are limited to two per customer, and will not be redeemable until after Thanksgiving and Black Friday are over.

GAMES AND CONTROLLERS FOR CHEAP

A variety of games will receive a price drop for the holiday. Titles typically sold for between $29.99 and $59.99 will see their prices cut by $20. These include, as seen in the flyer, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Until Dawn and the new Need for Speed.

Certain older games will also be available to purchase as part of a "buy one, get one free" promotion.

Starter packs for the toy-based Lego Dimensions and Skylanders Superchargers will also be on sale. You can save $60 with the $69 Lego bundle, while Skylanders will be available for $49.

Wireless PS4 and Xbox controllers will be sold at a discount, too: $39.99, down from $59.99.

DON'T FORGET ABOUT NINTENDO

Nintendo isn't excluded from the sale: If you pick up a New Nintendo 3DS XL, you'll get a $20 coupon at checkout. The handheld will also see a price cut of $20, too — down to $179 from the usual $199.

All of the above deals are only good for Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26. Meijer stores will open at 6 a.m.
