Here’s how Fallout 4 has improved over Fallout 3
Fallout 4 isn't exactly a grand departure from past games in the apocalyptic open-world RPG series, but it nails a few mechanics that other Fallouts lacked. For one thing, its gunplay is a lot tighter, making non-VATS combat more viable and a hell of a lot more enjoyable. It takes a way more hands-on approach to making you feel like you're rebuilding your ruined world, largely because it literally allows you to rebuild the world. Also, you can sprint now.
