Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens Dec. 18, and while you might already have your tickets booked — presuming you were quick enough — there are likely few more appropriate venues to check out the latest entry in the series than the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Omaha, Nebraska.
As Entertainment Weekly shows off, the theater borrows liberally from the Star Wars universe. It sports a lobby decked out with Imperial ship panels, a throne fit for the Emperor and even a functioning Death Star, which shoots lasers that you can control from the throne.
The decorations will be permanent fixtures at the Drafthouse. One might assume that screenings of Star Wars films would be added to the location's schedule in perpetuity, too. They won't be — the theater isn't currently showing any official Star Wars movies, although considering a new Star Wars film will be released almost annually for the rest of our lives, the decor won't go to waste.
Those looking to get their Star Wars fix at the country's most Star Wars-like theater sooner than The Force Awakens' premiere date can check out a film called Turkish Star Wars, which will play next week.
