Assassin's Creed Syndicate's Jack the Ripper DLC arrives next week

Jack the Ripper will terrorize 1880s London in Assassin's Creed Syndicate when his story campaign launches next week, publisher Ubisoft announced today.

The game's Jack the Ripper expansion will be released Dec. 15 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It will be available for the Windows PC version of the game one week later, Dec. 22.

Jack the Ripper is believed to have killed at least five women in the Whitechapel district of London in 1888, and that is when the Syndicate expansion featuring him will take place. Players will step back into the boots of Evie Frye, now 40 years old — the events of Syndicate itself are set in 1868 — and attempt to track down the serial killer.

The Jack the Ripper add-on will cost $14.99 on its own. It is included in Syndicate's $29.99 season pass, which also covers two mission packs, "The Last Maharaja" and "Streets of London," along with an additional mission called "The Long Night" and various in-game items.
