If you happen to be looking for a PlayStation 4 and a new TV before the holidays, you may want to visit Best Buy: The retailer is offering this fall's two PS4 bundles in packages with a massive Samsung HDTV for just under $800.
The display in question is a 58-inch 1080p Samsung LED TV, model UN58J5190AFXZA, which regularly costs $849.99 but is currently on sale for $549.99. Customers can pick up that TV, plus either the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection or the Star Wars Battlefront PS4 bundle, for $799.98. Both of those console bundles regularly cost $349.99 but are available through Dec. 19 for $299.99.
If you add the components up, a PS4 bundle at $299.99 plus the TV at $549.99 equals $849.98. So at $799.98, buyers would be saving $50 off buying the pieces individually — and $400 off their combined regular price of $1,199.98.
If this all sounds a bit familiar, it's because this is a super-sized version of a similar deal Best Buy ran over the summer and again on Black Friday, in which the store offered an Xbox One bundle plus a 40-inch Samsung HDTV at a discount.
The PS4/HDTV offer is available from Dec. 13-19 in stores and online, but if you're ready to pull the trigger today, Best Buy is throwing in some bonuses. One of the retailer's deals of the day is that buyers of either PS4 bundle get a free PlayStation Camera (regularly $59.99) and Controller Gear Controller Stand (reg. $9.99), so customers would be saving an additional $69.98 today.
