Star Wars: The Force Awakens officially opens on Friday for the entire country, but the premiere is happening tonight in Los Angeles.
To celebrate, the movie's website will be livestreaming the red carpet event, which will include interviews with the cast of the film and commentary with director J.J. Abrams. It may just provide some additional footage of the film, too.
Of course, this also means that after the premiere tonight, it might be wise to stay off social media entirely if you're trying to avoid spoilers.
Security has been amped up for the premiere tenfold, with some people posting photos on Instagram claiming that if you want to get anywhere near the event, you have to walk through a designated metal detector. That shouldn't be too surprising, though, considering this is the Hollywood event of the year.
The livestream starts at 5:30 p.m. PST.
