Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai has new details to share on Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS and will do so today in a new Nintendo Direct presentation dedicated to the fighting game.
Today's Nintendo Direct on Super Smash Bros. will stream live at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET on Twitch and YouTube. According to Nintendo, Sakurai will provide details on upcoming downloadable content, including Final Fantasy 7's Cloud Strife, who was announced during another Nintendo Direct that aired last month. A new stage, based on Final Fantasy 7's Midgar, is also coming.
Sakurai apparently has more than just Cloud to talk about in today's Nintendo Direct; in April, Nintendo opened an online ballot asking fans of the series who they'd like to see in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS.
