Cloud joins Super Smash Bros. later today

The Final Fantasy fighter finally takes on Mario

Cloud comes to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS later today. He'll be available for $5.99 on each platform, and $6.99 for both, Nintendo announced.

Today's Super Smash Bros. presentation revealed the Final Fantasy 7 fighter's full moveset. You can check it out above.

Also make its debut today: a new stage based on Midgar, an early location in the classic PlayStation game. Midgar is bundled with Cloud at no extra cost.

Among the details shared during the presentation was the stage's interactive elements. Midgar's Smash Bros. iteration will feature certain Final Fantasy summons, like Ifrit and Odin.

Nintendo confirmed that Cloud would be joining the roster during last month's Nintendo Direct. He's one of the final fighters to come to the game, along with Fire Emblem Fates' Corrin and Bayonetta, both of whom were announced during today's Super Smash Bros. presentation.
