Pokkén Tournament for Wii U getting a dedicated arcade controller

If the GamePad just isn't arcade accurate enough for you

Pokémon fighting game Pokkén Tournament is getting a dedicated controller — at least, in Japan — when it comes to Wii U next year.

Accessory maker Hori will release the Pokkén Tournament game pad, which is modeled after the arcade version's controller, on March 18, 2016 in Japan, the same day the Wii U version is released. According to the game's official website, the controller will sell for ¥3,840 (about $32).

Pokkén Tournament players won't need the dedicated controller to play the game. The Wii U version will support the GamePad, Wii U Pro Controller and Wii Classic Controller Pro.

Pokémon fans in North America can get their hands on Pokkén Tournament sometime next spring.
