Tina Fey seems to be the type of comedian that just gets better with every project.
In the first official trailer for her new movie, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Fey plays Kim Barker, a journalist for ProPublica who travels to Afghanistan and Pakistan to chase down an important story and experience a whole new world of reporting.
Based on a true story, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot has obviously been exaggerated for comedic purposes, but based on the trailer, the humor has been handled with a great deal of care and admiration for the original source material.
It also looks like Fey will continue her role of playing the hard-working, dedicated career woman that many have come to know her as from her time playing Liz Lemon on 30 Rock.
Also starring Margot Robbie, Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman and Josh Charles, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is scheduled to hit theaters March 4, 2016.
