The posters for Sony's upcoming all-women Ghostbusters remake just keep on coming.
Today, the studio released four new individual character posters for the remake, leaving little nods to the original film for massive fans of the franchise to find.

Although these aren't the clearest look at the characters, director Paul Feig did give a little more insight into the roles of Abby (Melissa McCarthy), Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon), Erin (Kristen Wiig) and Patty (Leslie Jones).
According to Feig, Abby is a paranormal researcher, supernatural scientist and entity trapper. Holtzmann is a nuclear engineer and proton wrangler. Erin is a particle physicist and spectral warrior, while Patty is a ghost tracker and metaphysical commando.

It's an interesting choice to keep all four actors in the shadows, especially when individual posters are typically designed to introduce the audience to the characters, but it's obvious Sony wants to keep this as secretive as they can until the first trailer hits.
Speaking of which, that could happen sooner than expected with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's newest movie, Sisters, hitting theaters tomorrow. It's the perfect movie for the Ghostbusters trailer to premiere with, especially considering the heavy Saturday Night Live connection between the two films.

Those looking for clues into the new movie through these new posters may be left a little disappointed, but notice the "2206" on McKinnon's proto pack? That's the same number as Dana's apartment in the original Ghostbusters.
The new version of the movie is slated to hit theaters July 15, 2016.
