Bungie will bring back Destiny's limited-time competitive multiplayer event, Iron Banner, on Dec. 29, according to a new blog post from the developer. This round of Iron Banner includes a batch of PlayStation platform-exclusive rewards, which Bungie and Sony announced at PlayStation Experience earlier this month.
The December Iron Banner will return to the Control game mode. Last month's version of Iron Banner was a Clash (6v6 team deathmatch) event, but it appears Bungie will return to form this month.
Bungie also laid out this month's Iron Banner rewards, which include the Haakon's Hatchet auto rifle and Deidris's Retort shotgun, as well as some armor. Three helms and three class items will also be available as PlayStation exclusives.
Here's how the new gear will be distributed, per Bungie community manager David "DeeJ" Dague.
