Capybara's Below delayed into 2016

There isn't much time left in 2015, after all

Samit Sarkar (he/him) is Polygon’s deputy managing editor. He has more than 15 years of experience covering video games, movies, television, and technology.

Below, the atmospheric dungeon-crawler from Capybara Games, won't be coming out this year — it's now scheduled to debut in 2016, reports Game Informer.

"Below is indeed coming in 2016," Capy president Nathan Vella told Game Informer. "Past that I can't share much, yet. We'll certainly have a lot more content to show and news to share in the new year."

Microsoft said at Gamescom 2014 that Below was set to be released in 2015 on Xbox One; Capy had previously confirmed the game is also in development on Windows PC. The studio announced the game during Microsoft's E3 2013 press briefing.

Earlier this month, Klei Entertainment released Don't Starve: Shipwrecked, a new Don't Starve expansion that Capy co-developed with Klei.
